Our European Duo arrives in Austin this week from France and Norway to begin intense rehearsals with violin virtuoso William Fedkenheuer to prepare the nearly one hour of completely original music they’ll perform on Friday the 22nd for The Unknown with theAlamo Drafthouse and AMOA-Arthouse (video spot).
They’ve been dreaming up this original film score for the past six months – it’s so much more than a musical accompaniment to film, it’s an imaginative sonic interpretation of a cinematic masterpiece!
But even if a uniquely Austin outdoor film screening with dinner, drinks, circus performers, a band, and a wildly creative original musical work isn’t your idea of a great night out… our European Duo will still give a phenomenal recital the very next night, Saturday July 23rd, as part of our Austin Guitar Salon series at the gorgeous and historic Commodore Perry Estate in Hyde Park complete with tours of the mansion and a delicious reception courtesy of Antonelli’s Cheese Shop and Twin Liquors!
