Talin Nalbandian

Talin Nalbandian is an Armenian-American mezzo- soprano, who recently received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Texas, Austin and a certificate in the Portfolio Program in Arts and Cultural Management and Entrepreneurship in May 2023. Throughout her career, Talin has worked with Chautauqua Opera, Music Academy of the West, Opera San José, Livermore Valley Opera, Virginia Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Sarasota Opera, and Wolf Trap Opera. She has also received awards in multiple competitions, including, The Dallas Opera Biennial Lone Star Vocal Competition, the Mildred Miller International Voice Competition, the Henry and Maria Holt Vocal Competition, the Burbank Philharmonic Kennings-Fischer Competition, the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, the Butler Opera International Competition and the Mentoris Project Vocal Competition. Talin also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pepperdine University and a Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music.
