How to watch on your home TV
YouTube
To watch on your home TV through your YouTube app on Roku, Smart TV, or other streaming device, first complete your transaction on your computer or smartphone. Begin watching the feature, and then select “Watch Later” in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Next, turn on your TV, launch your YouTube app, and locate the feature on your “Watch Later” list.
Wireless Cast from your Laptop
To cast a video from your laptop to your TV, ensure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If you have a Smart TV with built-in casting (such as Chromecast, Apple AirPlay, or Miracast), open the video on your laptop, then look for the cast icon (usually a screen with Wi-Fi waves) in the video player or browser. Click it, select your TV from the list of available devices, and the video should appear on your TV screen.
HDMI
If your TV does not support casting, you can use an HDMI cable to connect your laptop directly. Simply plug one end into your laptop’s HDMI port and the other into the TV, then use your TV remote to switch to the correct HDMI input.
Airplay
For Apple devices, you can also use AirPlay by clicking the AirPlay icon in compatible apps or using screen mirroring from the Control Center.
