Learning Classical Guitar at The Rosette
Whether you are a brand new or advancing guitarist, let Arnold Yzaguirre (website) be your guide in learning the art and traditions of this beautiful instrument.
Guitar Foundations
No experience is required for this fun introduction to the classical guitar. You’ll be making beautiful music from day one, while mastering the fundamental skills you’ll need to advance in your playing.
Classes will take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 pm for 8 weeks. All classes will take place in the Rosette Lounge.

Guitar Pathways
This class is the perfect fit for adult students who have completed the Guitar Foundations class, or who already know the basics of classical guitar, and are eager to learn more in a fun, no-pressure group setting. Students will build new skills, such as reading in 1st and 5th position, playing scales and arpeggios, learning how to practice effectively, performing solo and ensemble music, and more!
Classes will take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:15-8:15pm for 8 weeks. All classes will take place in the Rosette Lounge.

What to bring
Participants will need to bring their own nylon-string classical guitar and a footstool. We have a limited number of guitars available to borrow – if you’re interested, please mention it in the “Comments” field when you register below.
