Guitars for Kids

John Henry McDonald I created the Guitars for Kids initiative so that I could use my passion for music and songwriting to support the outstanding work in education by Austin Classical Guitar. I have personally seen the deep, lasting and positive impact of this accessible and affordable program on thousands of young students from diverse backgrounds. A gift of $100 can provide a guitar for a student whose life may be changed by the experience of studying guitar.

Austin Classical Guitar’s education team and online curriculum supports programs throughout Texas and in hundreds of schools around the world. More are joining all the time. This program speaks to kids, keeps them in school, gives them confidence, and so much more. Please contribute today. Your gift will directly benefit kids in schools and help fund scholarships for graduates to attend Austin Community College.
