Lunarium by Adrian Landon Brooks

Lunarium: A Fundraiser for New Art at ACG

Tuesday, March 10 at 7:00pm at The Rosette
Free, RSVP required

At ACG we believe in the power of art to change the world. We believe in paying artists well to practice their craft be it playing, teaching, composing, or painting. We’ve commissioned over 300 new pieces of music and dozens of visual artworks investing hundreds of thousands of dollars into the local creative economy for the creation of vibrant artistic experiences resonating with the truth of now.

For Lunarium, The Baker Press Room will fire up the printing presses where we’ll be able to participate in printing our own limited series prints by muralist and ACG program artist Adrian Landon Brooks, created just for this occasion. Then the elite ACG Youth Orchestra will premiere the newest ACG Commissioned work by brilliant Austin-based composer Matthew Lyons as part of a 30-minute concert of all-living composers. To top it off, we’ll hear a few inspiring words from ACG Artistic Director Joe Williams about his vision for new works in the year ahead.

We’ll serve complimentary beverages and there will be opportunities to donate to our continued efforts to foster great new art for our community.

Special thanks to our season beverage sponsor Twin Liquors, with generous support from our fabulous drink partners Live Oak Brewery, BAWI Sparkling Agua Fresca, and Gruppo Butera fine Italian wines.
