Mexican classical guitarist Dieter Hennings Yeomans returns to Austin with a program inspired by the experience of the “thinning of the veil”—that liminal moment in autumn when the boundary between the natural and supernatural becomes palpable.

Joined by storyteller Janice Muñiz, this concert is devoted to myth, folklore, and the rich cultural traditions of Día de los Muertos. It features music by ACG Artistic Director Joe Williams, the legendary Mexican composer Manuel María Ponce, and a newly commissioned piece by Austin-based composer Laura Mercado-Wright.
