Journey with us through stories of home, and celebrate how our humanity transcends borders, languages, and boundaries.
In 2017, ACG created I/WE, a multimedia concert inspired by interviews with Syrian & Iraqi refugees during their first 90 days in Austin. The project involved an international cast of musicians and artists, won Best New Composition by the Austin Chronicle, and changed us forever.
In I/We 2020, we are partnering with the wildly creative ARCOS and Choreographer Erica Gionfridda to recontextualize these stories in new spaces, reimagining the themes of home in a film featuring four new dance works.
