Learn Classical Guitar at Google HQ – No Experience Needed

Take a break from work for an hour and join us at Google to make some music together! The classical guitar is one of the most beautiful and approachable instruments to learn. With its warm, expressive tone and comfortable nylon strings, it’s perfect for beginners. In this engaging 10-session course, you’ll start making music right away while developing the fundamental skills that will set you on a path to confident playing. No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and a love for music.

Course Details

This class meets on Thursday mornings from July 10 to September 11 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Google’s downtown headquarters at 500 W 2nd St, Austin, TX 78701. Registration for the course is $200. 

What You’ll Need

To participate, you’ll need a six-string classical guitar (nylon-string), a footstool, and a wire music stand.
