Carlos Piñana carries flamenco in his blood. The grandson of a legendary cantaor and son of a renowned guitarist, Carlos has spent his life mastering this rich art form. As a celebrated performer and professor of flamenco guitar at the Murcia Superior Music Conservatory, he has developed a uniquely inspiring approach that helps classical guitarists unlock the rhythms, colors, and soul of flamenco.
A beloved friend of ACG, Carlos even hosted our ACG Youth Orchestra last summer in Spain as the closing act of a major flamenco festival in Murcia. Now, he brings that same energy and brilliance to Austin in this thrilling collaboration with Miguel Ángel.
