Austin Classical Guitar built GuitarCurriculum after years serving in the classroom to be as useful for teachers as possible. We had noticed that teachers struggle with differing numbers of students in every class, the need to use and re-use music year after year, and the need to perform and record their students all the time in school concerts, for contests, etc. Traditionally-published music places all kinds of restrictions around usage that can make it hard for teachers to serve their students with the flexibility they need (make copies, re-use it, perform it and record it without licensing). So GuitarCurriculum was created with flexibility built into the usage of all the material within the site.

This licensing agreement does NOT give us ownership of your music. You retain that, and are free to do anything you want with it. It does, however, grant us this ability to put it on GuitarCurriculum.com and edit/format it such that our teacher network can use it in an effective way.

If you have any questions or concerns at all, we invite you to contact our Director of Community Education, Tony Mariano at [email protected].
