2024 Teacher Summit: Columbia, South Carolina
July 25 – 27
Join the team from Austin Classical Guitar and GuitarCurriculum at the USC School of Music for three days of inspiration, information, and fun!
The Teacher Summit is a 3-day intensive workshop designed to prepare teachers to excel in the guitar classroom. There are specialized tracks available for New Teachers, Veteran Teachers, and Elementary Teachers, with sessions covering a wide range of topics, including technique, pedagogy, conducting and advocacy, with hands-on teaching and feedback.
Thanks to funding from the South Carolina Arts Commission, the University of South Carolina Research Foundation, and the USC School of Music, this Teacher Summit is completely free to attend, and includes a 6-month complimentary subscription for all new attendees to GuitarCurriculum. The three-day summit includes 16 professional development contact hours. Space is limited and will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
Registration deadline is July 1.
